Isolated from the world, lacking water and electricity, and facing population decline. As a keyword for Taiwan's westernmost island, even the locals of Penghu rarely visit it. Only a few clues can be found in the fragments of news, but this is an island that cannot be adequately described with words, where few words convey deep sorrow. It seems that the words have chosen to lie down, with the horizon pressing the ink so densely. There isn’t much water, much electricity, or many people. From a distant perspective, the island seems to twist the dimensions of words, leaving only flat and silent undulating lines in sight.
